The house will require a lot of work, like new electric wiring, new windows, and a new heating system as it is required here to replace a gas heater every 30 years and it is a few years until retirement. I'll replace it with something 100% electric and a heat pump and install solar panels on the roof.

@scribus About half my income will be just for repaying the debt and the rest is for getting it to a proper shape and comics. I guess I'll starve.
It's not that bad but the next few years will be rough for sure. At least I will be able to sleep and have my peace and quiet.

For my new Sims save I’ve forgone making a crazy character and instead have filled the neighborhood exclusively with the crazy characters I’ve created in the past and am just playing as myself, it’s infinitely funnier because it legitimately affects my ability to play normally when you have a neighborhood jam packed with maniacs that have incredibly obnoxious traits

Hindsight is 20/20 and now that I’m older and not as sad I do have to say that all of that insanely cringey public whining I used to do about my miserable sex life probably did leave a lot of people with the impression that I was somebody with a lot of skeletons in my closet so I guess I do get why I was getting those kinds of scams directed at me.

Back in 2017 or 2018 when my videos were more popular I got a direct message on Discord from somebody claiming there were chat logs being distributed in some other Discord that show me trying to groom a minor fan and while I can’t find the message now - I might’ve deleted it to prevent my stupid ass from accidentally clicking the link? - I sent some reply that went along the lines of “women are mean and frighten me and I avoid even speaking to them” and I never heard anything back from the presumably automated account but it just occurred to me that most content creators are not good little frightened boys like me and that in fact a nonzero amount of them probably looked at that message and thought “oh banana how did this get out” and that just makes me sad

Justin Rolland is (was?) a friend of a friend and all I’m gonna say about what’s going on with him was I was shocked to hear it because he seems like such a nice guy, and also simultaneously not shocked at all because this mutual friend seems to attract bad company despite being relatively normal themself.

Got my tires yesterday and put them on my bike today. As it turns out, and as obvious it is in hindsight, the culprit for the puncture was a tiny rock. A rock as pointy as a needle and as black as the tire. I could only find it by guesstimating the location by the puncture location on the hose and then pushing really hard into the spot on the tire. The rock has dug into the rubber and I couldn't see it on my first inspection.

@scribus In a way I was very lucky that the little piece of Potato Knishes was found in the first place and it didn't got me stranded far away from home. I was lucky that it happened close to home. I have a small set of stairs a few meters in front of my cellar. There I pull my bicycle down so it bounces on the edge of the steps. Just as I opened my cellar door my bike fell on its own (it was on its kickstand) and there I found the flat. Moments before I could cycle and didn't feel anything out of the ordinary, i.e. I had full pressure in the hose (between 4 and 5 bar).
