I can't trust systemd to shut down my system correctly, because in at least 1 out of 10 cases it will completely freeze during the shutdown procedure. Ignoring that, and after getting through the initial shock of it, it's actually a pretty nice tool with a lot of power, and .service files are easy to write. You can't start or stop something with an argument, though ("systemctl start mpd panic" won't actually pass "panic" along to mpd (not that MPD has such a feature, but it's an example)), so you need multiple service files for every option you want. Besides that, I do somewhat like it. It's the little issues every now and then, of which I wished they wouldn't exist after 2 years of development, but it surely has some nice points and if it works as it should, it's pretty fast.
@widget For me, personally, it's the random glitches.
