  1. @ans1 Eep! Well, in that case, better slow and fully, then. And, in case I miss it for some reason, I hope that you have a Merry Christmas.

  2. @ans1 Eep! I hope that she recovers well, fully and quickly!

  3. @cracky Oh, so it was recently. Mmm, well, singing about the end of winter in late summer is probably a little off-schedule, but not TOO bad.

  4. @kingcarcinopony She does seem to, which, I must admit, feels pretty darned nice. :) Didn't even have to put any sort of coercion whammies on her or anything. Just goes to show, I suppose.

  5. @zachariastargazer I'm not sure. I certainly hope to, but with the moon being full, I doubt that I'll go too far out of my way. And, of course, a lot will depend upon the weather, though it's usually more conducive to clear skies this time of year. But I'll probably go out to a clear field not far from here for a few hours on Friday, if nothing else.

  6. @cracky Ohhh. Yes, definitely the staff. Unless you were singing it in, say, autumn, which could cause some confusion as well, like when I was at the Hallmark store last week, and they were playing Christmas music.

  7. @kingcarcinopony Ohhh, yes. Not only is it possible, but it has happened for extended periods, and occurs at least once a day, when I awaken and look like a distressed Q-Tip on my way to the shower. (Though, oddly, my honey thinks it's cute. :p Go figure.)

  8. @kingcarcinopony Mmm, no, just telegraphing my mood, I suppose, while trying to keep a professional, pleasant appearance. :)

  9. @cracky Hmmm. What were you singing?

Friday, 05-Aug-11 03:14:38 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  10. @kingcarcinopony Ohhh, I do. Especially the other day, for example, when my patience was worn to nil, and I was going around doing my work with an eerily calm smile, singing Alice Cooper's "Welcome To My Nightmare" in a soft, sweet voice. People have been much less demanding and more appreciative since then, I've noticed. It's amazing what a well-timed smile can do. :)

  11. @zachariastargazer Yay, welcome back! Sorry to hear the Walgreens run wasn't fruitful. Next time. :)

  12. @kingcarcinopony I do that from time to time, too. Sometimes, it frightens people whenI do.

  18. @engelhardt Kind of depends on what part of the country you're in. Around here, some people look at car drivers as if they are personally responsible for killing the Earth, every tree on it, and all the millions and billions of little furry creatures that all resemble Bambi. I actually went a year and a half without driving, at one point, and very few people found it at all unusual.

  20. @starshine @nvrrmbr But the food we've stored is runnin' out, and we can't grow in this cold ...

  21. @nvrrmbr Really? Hmmm. *ahem* Three months of winter coolness, and awesome holidays ...

  22. @nvrrmbr Yes, but have you gotten to where, if you hear the start of it, you have to finish it, no matter what?

  23. @pinhooves Awww! I usually only see my family every 2-3 years, so I know how that can ache.

  26. @greydragon412 Actually, the theory is that the smaller moon collided with the far side of the larger one, at a very slow relative velocity. So, perhaps Celestia simply gently consolidated the two, to make it easier to control.
