@ceruleanspark 2 questions, is the map a reflection of where the site gets the most traffic as well or just based on test responses from said countries and the server is Canadian based right? Like this is a statusnet.ca extension and that's why the response is so fast in Canada or no?

@snowcone fair enough. I was going to partition space on my hardrive for (I think it was ) Mint distro but then didn't because I have a mac laptop from 5 years ago that has a max hardrive space of 180gb and it'd die.

Huh I thought I was about to get yelled at for dicking around on my phone instead of working but I actually just gor praised for my work with weapons training with the JSDF for my cultural understanding and effective communication and friendly disposition. Apparently a full blown Japanese Colonel wrote a letter of commendation to my superiors. Pretty cool. Add that to my list of recent achievments along with being the most sought after enlisted computer tech in camp hansen

@northernnarwhal i like wrpgs more than jrpgs actually but I play more jrpgs because there is more variety. Don't get me wrong though I love jrpgs but there is something about the freedom in bethesda games that gets to me. Also I feel like people here "japanese games" and think jrpg and pokemon but some of my favorite games are the Project Diva series, some Galge/, and a lot of other good stuff

@northernnarwhal Danganronpa. The games are alright. I feel like both the games and the anime were kind of mediocre. They were like the equivalent of a "popcorn flick". They were good enough to be entertaining but that's really all they are.

@northernnarwhal if you can afford it get it. Even just looking at the na library makes me say it's worth it. The trick is knowing what to buy. It didn't sell well outside Japan I think because all the good games are very Japanese.
