@abigpony Black ghosts are unnatural, and we need to keep you separate from us normal white-sheet ghosts.
-
@abigpony You should be a strong independent black woman who doesn't need any answers.

@abigpony Ah, there's the needless complaints. Now I truly have arrived as a tumblrer.

@abigpony But the answer would have been "That's my favourite minigolf resort!"

@abigpony @redenchilada Non-obvious, sure, but not too tricky to remember in practice.
-
@abigpony @redenchilada While I don't doubt there are exceptions, using "it's" only where "it is" would also make sense (but come off as stilted due to the lack of contraction) has served me pretty well.
-
@abigpony Nice Zecora puncuation
-
@abigpony Now let's spread this clarification to the rest of the internet in the interests of correct phrasing.
-
@abigpony Saying "it's car" isn't acceptable because the 's ending is supposed to be used to contract "is", and yet "Sam's car" is perfectly acceptable? English.
-
@abigpony Can't draw

@abigpony At school. Couldn't sleep if'in I wanted to
-
@abigpony It is used interchangeably with "I couldn't care less", in the same context, and with the same meaning, even though it means the exact opposite.
-
@abigpony They don't even KNOW what their talents yet!
-
@abigpony What? My prediction? I just thought they'd be cute Cutie Marks
-
@abigpony Using too in place of to isn't really common, but I see stuff like "to important" all the time.
-
@abigpony "Have" and "of," evidently. Because people keep saying "should of" when they should have said "should have." Or "should've," which really A) demonstrates that it needs to be "have" to contract like that and B) helps explain why people think it's "of," since a "'ve" sounds quite like "of."
