@stumpy Legit.
-
@stumpy What would you consider to be your real test?
-
The Bad Recession = Used Cars
-
@toksyuryel Morning! *hugs tightly~*
-
@neurario I feel like I know who you've been listening to. :P
-
@anthonyrothstein As much as I've been the first to crack a joke at their expense in the past, they're not awful. They're very strict on their canon, and on the guidelines in general, but that helps, because I've certainly not seen any actually terrible people there when I've looked. So if you don't mind playing in a pre-existing canon, I say give it a go. You've got nothing to lose but a little time, even on the off-chance they don't like you at all, or vice versa. :)

@widget The problems are in the Python wrapper, so short of building your own Python (or working around the problems - like I said, that's what I'm slowly working on, but sadly not feeling much motivation lately), I'm afraid not. Which sucks, because I honestly wouldn't have worked on it so much if I didn't consider it a pleasant way of using statusnet, but my own incompetence and the python curses maintainers' apathy/arrogance are a nasty mix, so it's regretfully not yet anywhere near a viable client for most.

@ceruleanspark Which isn't to say that there isn't a lot of fandom stuff I like, but it'd still burn me out if I didn't like anyone else who was involved.
-
@ceruleanspark Pretty much this. I'm involved in various fandom things, but only because I found them through fandom, and liked the people involved. I wouldn't do fandom stuff just because it's fandom stuff, because that'd get tedious and unpleasant really fast.
-
@redenchilada Yes, good.
-
@ceruleanspark No, see, that's how you know you're in for a good time.
-
@redenchilada (But no, throw that crap out. Considering I think my present state might be brought on by past-date food, I'm pretty loath to recommend risking it.)
-
@redenchilada But that's when it gets the really interesting flavours!
-
@toksyuryel I don't see why not. Definitely not 100% still, but I think I can handle typing into a computer. Logging on shortly. :)
-
@toksyuryel (...okay, I should probably stop that before it breaks the roleplaying rule.)
-
@toksyuryel *snuggles up close~*
-
@toksyuryel I'd like that, too. :) #latereply
-
@thelastgherkin (Present me is less fever, but no less think of watch Con Air, for reference.)
-
@toksyuryel I figure it's probably the Karkat parallels inherent in me conversing with past/future me. (I wasn't going for that, but I can't say for certain that it wasn't the subconscious reason for my wording.)
-
@thelastgherkin I don't think he managed to be quite so grammatically correct, but yes.
-
@bitshift Past me, you liar. You didn't even switch your phone off, and now present me can use it unhindered. You're just lucky I didn't slip back into a raving stupor, or the resulting mess would be entirely on your head, mister.
-
@bitshift (p.s. watching Con Air is still going to be a thing, but only once I'm not likely to fall asleep partway through)
-
Jegus, past me. I know you were in the depths of fever confusion, but you could've just... not posted? Such a load of stupidity and bad grammar/spelling/logic. ...anyway, still feeling pretty out of whack, so I'm gonna shut off my phone now to keep future me in check. See you around, RDN.
-
@thelastgherkin okay
-
@thelastgherkin i'm fever and thinking of watch con air?
-
@toksyuryel minecraft

@toksyuryel still sleepy, so no |ineqraft today
