@ponydude2143 Always KDE. I tested GNOME XFCE and Enlightment (and some window managers). KDE is the most appealing to me.

@broniebrown I found Gnome to be most stable for me, but KDE was pretty fancy (and it has ponies now!?) :o

@scribus KDE 4 ist pretty stable now. I used KDE 4 since the first RC (parallel to KDE 3). You can make KDE 4 very fancy but I have almost none of these fancy widgets. I have only 2 calendar widgets (one for tv series releases and the other for my personal stuff). The present windows desktop effect is also very useful.
