@hakupony AoE2 is the best of the saga, but AoE3 is really good too. I'm just addicted to games. Strategy games and RPGs are the worst for me xD I can play all day.

@hakupony It has a completely different gameplay style, and it's campaign is not history related, but it's really fun too.

@nerthos I can agree to this post. Tried AoE Online? Pretty much a mix between AoE 2 and 3, but there's a huge amount of stuff you have to do before you're able to really play it normally (or you could buy Skirmish hall BUT YEAH)

@anubins Never played it. I'm trying to win AoE3 for the first time, since the last time I played I uninstalled it at the 3rd chapter due to lack of disk space years ago, and now I have both expansions xD Should I try it?

@nerthos I'd definitely recommend it. Buying the "pro" Civs in Online is akin to buying AoE II or III, so I mind it less. You can still pretty much do anything without Pro stuff though, it's largely cosmetic. Most important thing to considering buying is the Skirmish Hall, because, y'know. Skirmishes are really fun

@nerthos There are quite a few issues with that. I used the key code for my old computer. My computer got overloaded with viruses and we had to wipe it. Soooo, the key won't work anymore, and I can't do ANYTHING online with AoE3 :( I'll just wait 'til I can get 'em on Steam ;P

@anubins I always hear good things about it, but I have way too many consoles and I never play on them. Buying a PS3 would be idiocy for me. And I would have to download the games, copy them to the HDD, and lots of stuff like that.

@nerthos I used to listen to AoE 2 in game music when I couldn't play it. Then I just imagined what was happening and all. AoE 2 is the best.

@nerthos I also liked leaving a couple tutonic knights in front as scouts. Partly too lazy to wait for them to retreat, and also because they could do quite a number on the enemy forces.

@renovatedkitchen They have more defense and attack than most the units in the game. Twenty of them can face almost anything and leave in good condition. If you have ten monks to heal them between battles, they're almost invincible.

@nerthos oh, the appocolypse? Ya. Once it was 3 times up'd, it is invincible. And the Kirov's. Take 2-3 and you just destroyed their base. Or, as Yuri, make a bunch of flying disc's, and mass engineers. Take out their power, have another couple pull agro, send in engineers, take over base.
