  1. After Matt mentioned it I looked up Stencyl, it makes MMF2 look like C++, jesus christ.

    1. @scoot Yeah I spent about ten minutes trying it, it's really bad.

      1. @mrmattimation You should make something in MMF2 instead

        1. @redenchilada Hey! Matt should make shadow's adventure 2- wait, I already did that when I was nine... I don't think I made 6. Matt should make shadow's adventure 6!

          1. @redenchilada I wish I still had my old GAM and MFA files :(

            1. @scoot I have a spotty collection of mine. I found all the original files for shadow's adventure but I don't have anything for the Ed Edd n Eddy/Sonic the Hedgehog crossover fangame I made in 2007. :(

              1. @redenchilada I wish I could find the files for a Sonic level creator I made. For an 11 year old it was really ambitious, you could select and place blocks & characters. I also had some Shadow gun game around the time Shadow the Hedgehog rolled around. I've forgotten everything else I made by now though

                1. @scoot Oh, I still have a level creator for a fangame about 1-Up (the Stinkoman character) on this hard drive! I think it was from 2009 or so. (I made it when I found out IWBTG wasn't about Homestar Runner and got mad about that)

                  1. @redenchilada The most offensive thing I remember working on was some sort of Isometric Pokemon where you played as Sonic. I think I was 10. I only got as far as Vermillion before realising how big the Pokemon Map actually was. I wasn't in to H*R when I was young, so all my games were Sonic based

                    1. @scoot I think about half my games were Sonic-based. I was big into the Sonic fangaming community for a while, but I also had lots of other ideas so I had a Donkey Kong game, a Mario game, I think a Xiaolin Showdown game at one point... I think I even had a fangame about some marble-rolling game that came with the computer my family got in 2004. (I mentioned my little brother making Everybody Loves Raymond Racing, right?)

                      1. @redenchilada Nope, I had no idea, sounds amazing. I wish I'd been so varied, but as a kid not only was Sonic pretty much my whole life and interests, but also there was no Spriter's Resource or MFGG or any other website I could refer to for sprites and stuff so Sonic was the only viable option. I'm intrigued as to what some of what you made actually looks like (and judge it against my own awful games)

                        1. @scoot I'll zip up the folder right now if you want. I'd have to DM it though because I honestly can't remember if kid me put anything identifying/indemnifying in his games

                          1. @redenchilada Would be interesting to see, if you don't mind. If I ever recover my old work I'll let you know

                            1. @scoot I'll... DM you the link in an hour or two. This thing is about 150MB even zipped so it'll take a while to upload.

                              1. @redenchilada That's fine, I'll probably check them out tomorrow
