@redenchilada Ok that works. I know exactly why it added those extra characters so that's an easy fix.

@redenchilada You should totally add notifications to your app when people reply back on RDN. :3

@widget Yup. I figure until I figure out why my GET for Public won't work, I'll work on adding things to the notice parsing.

@redenchilada Have you tried analyzing the identicurse source code?
Friday, 25-May-12 02:16:31 UTC from web-
@toksyuryel I tried and my brain started crying. I couldn't understand a lick of it.
Friday, 25-May-12 02:17:35 UTC from web-
@redenchilada Hm. Well, you could start by learning Python I guess :D

@toksyuryel OH WAIT you said Identicurse. I thought you said Mustard. I haven't looked at Identicurse's yet.

@noirbatch An SN client for Android that supports things we find useful. Basically RDN Plus for phones, I guess? It's super-early WIP stage right now though.

@widget I tried "/api/statuses/public_timeline.xml" and now I"m trying to use it with .rss. I'm using almost the same code as my POST request, so I dunno why it won't work. (And no I refuse to use an HTTPConnection class I'm too stubborn for that)

@widget I'm just trying to get a response from the server first. THEN I'll worry about which feed to use.

@widget Let the java flow through you, man. LET IT OVERTAKE YOU.

@widget Jython exists, probably easier to port that than to write your own.
Friday, 25-May-12 02:23:22 UTC from web -
@widget It only supports up to Python 2.5 currently, though they plan to release support for Python 2.7 in July. It also has some incompatibilities with cpython.

@widget That would be why I mentioned porting :P
