    I think Gerard Butler did the Phantom best. Maybe not as fine or skilled a singer as the Brooadway cast, but much more intimidating and forceful. An actual villain.

        @thelastgherkin And there was some horror film / non-musical (or at least, not ALW version) in which he wasn't deformed at all - but that was the twist! He only THOUGHT he was hideous because of an abusive childhood. Psychological, man~
