@mushi It's true, but that's a GREAT idea!
-
@clayinthecarpet god, it must taste horrible
-
@mushi Is it true that people in brazil use avocado on bread as a butter-replacement ? ( avocado with sugar ? Yea I'm gonna try that tomorrow, thanks for the idea)
-
@critialcloudkicker I grapesING KNOW, RIGHT? OMG
-
@critialcloudkicker i've never even heard of using avocado for that
-
@critialcloudkicker get half of an avocado, squeese it with a fork, then put as much sugar as you like on it.
-
@mushi Hmm. I'll add at least one avocado to the grocery list.
-
@mushi I actually never "use" avocado, let alone buy them, I know I should but everytime I walk past them in the aisle and think "yea, I need to find some use for that stuff, cus biologically speaking that stuff is nothing but pure goodness"... I heard the butter thing from http://pny.lv/4jo1#nsfw for #insaneadvice

@thewyrmawl my mom is pretty important in her workplace, soetime her workmates give her avocados. It is pretty random, my sister and i say those are their offerings

@mushi Ha, much like myself with eggs and the occasional pony.

@critialcloudkicker well, maybe some peopl edo that, But i've never seen it
-
@thewyrmawl huh?
-
@mushi So, ehmm, do you crush or peel or cut away the peel ? Also why not cut yourself a horizontal slice and pour sugar on it like a spoon ?
-
@critialcloudkicker You have to know the tricks to buy avocado. Checking if they're in perfect shape has something to do with the bellybutton-like thing they have where they used to know with the branch but I don't remember how it worked.
-
@mushi You can't eat the peel, right ?
-
@critialcloudkicker that is the exact process: you cute one horizontally, then you neel it (usually with a spoon), than you use a fork to squeese then go adding sugar untill it is good for you
-
@critialcloudkicker i believe it would not be a good idea
-
@mushi Once in a while I get chicken eggs for free from Steve, who owns chickens. Also, he has bought me a pony shirt and a few other pony-related items, including a blindbag. As I have traded such with him. My means of converting someone to the herd.

@nerthos ususally i just grab then to check if they have the right softness
-
@nerthos http://www.wikihow.com/Buy-a-Good-Avocado ... I also just learned there is a species of avocado out there called "bacon"
-
@thewyrmawl are you his boss?
-
@mushi Ha, no. No foreigner can be a boss here.
-
@thewyrmawl Except for jews.
-
@nerthos Oh mangoes I should convert back then.
-
@mushi How "soft" should they be anyway ? Like a hard tomato ? or more like a Granny Smith apple ?
-
@thewyrmawl Remember how the triangle works: Jew beats Yankee, Yankee beats Nazi, Nazi beats Jew.
-
@critialcloudkicker no, it is a lot harder than a tomato, and i dont really know apples by their foreign names...
But, well, it shoul dbe more hard than soft, but i dont know how to describe -
@nerthos There's something strangely endearing about your using the term Yankee.
-
@thewyrmawl Over here we don't call them Americans, as it is really silly since our country is also in America. We use yankees instead.
-
@mushi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Granny_Smith#mediaviewer/File:Granny_smith_and_cross_section.jpg It is the most tart apple out there, the most hardcore apple too, and people still declare me insane for putting them in applepies. I wonder what the Portuguese name for that thing is though
-
@critialcloudkicker Granny Smith apples are the bomb
-
@critialcloudkicker oh, we simply call then "maçãs verdes", literally green apples
-
@nerthos I try not to call them Americans either, because, you know, not all americans.
-
@mushi The googlefu is strong in me :). Even though at first I thought "Wait... Doesn't maca mean "bananasy" ?"
-
@critialcloudkicker well, i think i could say the avocado should sort of feel like a memory foam pillow
-
@critialcloudkicker ... Little cat ...
-
@critialcloudkicker hm.. yeah, it doesnt .-.
-
@mushi Actually it does, without the ` and ~ it is "little cat" in Bosnian... Wow I feel really mature now for remembering the days as a young teen playing with a computerized translator trying to find out what the most dirty words were in a problem-area of the world...

@critialcloudkicker well, here "maca" is thi hospital thing http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/777809
-
@mushi ... ehmm... cmon... you know this... ... ... Gurney ?
-
@critialcloudkicker i dont know the name D=
-
@mushi Ah, actual name of the device is "Stretcher", But "Litter" "Pram" "Cot" is also accepted, and it becomes a "Gurney" "Trolley" "Bed" or "Cart" if it is wheeled, or has veriable height frames... ... Then there come the localized flavours... English is hard
