@m14brony That is one hell of a Lean, mean, FIGHTIN' MACHINE! (gun)
-
@m14brony The lack of a stock on that gun makes me far more uncomfortable than it should.
-
@mrmattimation It would have a stock if federal regulations didn't require me to jump through so many hoops.
It would look better like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgD6mvfkNCIMetalTao likes this. -
@m14brony Oh, I love that sound!
-
@metaltao I am quite fond of it. It was $400 well spent. :)
-
@m14brony IT SOUNDS AMAZING!
-
@m14brony What exactly is the problem with having a stock on your gun?
-
@mrmattimation Likely changes the tier it falls into.
-
@mrmattimation t adds length to the gun, so, it can change legal definitions from a Sub-machine gun, to a full class Rifle I believe. Legal Loopholes would require more money and, more regulations and time.
-
@metaltao Buuuuuuuuuut... M14Brony is the Expert here...
-
@mrmattimation Federal law dictates that the legal minimum barrel length on a rifle with a stock is 16 inches. When the barrel is shorter than 16 inches, you have to obtain approval from a police chief (or set up a trust) so you can register the gun (and pay a $200 tax stamp) with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE). The approval process is long, and it can take around a year for the approval to be granted.
