Putting the CPU in is always the worst part for me. Even though it's super easy to do, just the knowledge that one wrong move and the CPU is completely destroyed always makes me exceedingly nervous.

@toksyuryel Releasing the locks to get it out is far worse.

@nerthos As far as the CPU itself is concerned there is only one lock, and it's real easy to release. The cooler can be kind of a nightmare to remove though.

@toksyuryel That's what I meant xD In the Phenom II, the cooler lock is really easy to put/remove. In the Sempron, it was a nightmare.

@toksyuryel A 1045t? nice. I went for the 1100t, for the .6GHz difference.

@nerthos This was the best I could get with free shipping at the time of purchase.

@toksyuryel I went to a couple stores to buy all the hardware at the best prices. Three hours of car and walking, worth it.

@nerthos Fry's is the only store I could do that at around here, and getting there is kind of painful for my location and available transportation methods. So I just get everything through newegg.

@toksyuryel Makes sense. Without car I wouldn't have risked carrying around us$1400 of hardware.
