      @tiffany Well, all plants are living plants, aren't they? Actually, aside from its seeds the actual tissue of tumble weed is dead.

        @northernnarwhal Oh, huh. What I meant by that was, I assumed that they were plants that had died. That's still neat though.

          @tiffany Well, the actual tissue is dead. It needs to be dead because it's purpose is to spread seeds, so by being dead it gradually deforms and releases seeds.
