So literally everything on my computer (taskbar and all) appears to have frozen... except my browser, for some reason?

@nerthos It's unfrozen now. That was still really weird though.

@mrmattimation Well, you can always make a .bat that contains
taskkill /F /IM Explorer.exe
[executable, pick a really low-weight one like notepad.exe]
Start explorer.exe
and leave it in a place you know you can access it, and if the UI freezes, you run it, close the program the .bat opens, and it'll restart the UI. -

@mrmattimation Note that the taskbar and all key shortcuts won't work until you close the program you picked to open, as the Windows UI won't be running.
