      @scriba Oh yeah, If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears is a splendid record. Though I think The Beach Boys had so much going for them that a lot of the popular appreciation for them stems past their harmonies into other territories of excellent songwriting, production, and instrumentation.

        @northernnarwhal Oh, no doubt. But BB's harmonies stand out front and center, both because, well, vocals tend to be up front, and because it really doesn't get used so much in newer music. At least, as far as I know.
