@mushi Iceland is actually green, it's Greenland that's a frozen wasteland
-
@mushi Well it isn't a tundra but it's pretty far from tropic too. It'd take some getting used to for you sure.
-
@rarity well, it is not a particular problem with iceland, i've just been living in tropical heat for over 20 years, so going to a place so up in the north would not be much good
-
@mushi well I think if an Icelander went to Brazil they'd literally die of heat stroke
-
@rarity Greenlanders esspecially.
-
@metaltao I don't even know if anyone lives in Greenland
-
@rarity Yeah.
-
@rarity Really small pockets of Inikuot (I forget the names of the tribes) right on the southern edge.
-
@rarity 56,483
-
@awlelwa oh yeah that's right
-
@rarity There is a city as well.
-
@mushi True, and unexpected heat waves usually have that result. Moscow used to have some pretty bad heat waves where people died. Thank the gods I didn't live that far south.
-
@awlelwa here we have the opposite problem, some homeless people were dying from cold
-
@mushi haha, Moscow gets that every winter
-
@awlelwa heh, Russian winter is in a hole different level. here they probably died because it got close to 10°C
-
@mushi Man, that's when I'm getting comfortable!
