    The bluetooth non-original handsfree set for my car radio is oddly programmed. It takes several connection attempts in order to establish a working connection.

        @l1ghtsword I don't know what the adapter has. My phone has Bluetooth 2.1 (HTC Desire Z). It works but I think it's the adapter's fault for not connecting properly on the first try.

          @adiwan In my experience with a variety of old and new phones, older versions of bluetooth have weird intermittent connections. especially when old and new tech hook up. moral of the story is dont hook up with older ladies
