  1. It's interesting looking back on old posts I've made here and seeing how much I now very starkly disagree with views I once previously held. Many of my opinions on art, politics, and society are all pretty fundamentally different these days.

    2. @northernnarwhal Our opinions are all shaped by experiences. We have to believe a tangled mess before we get our beliefs kosher w our morals

      1. @julianproxy This is a good way of putting it, many of our fundamental outlooks can and tend to be shaped by the people and art we engage with as well as the cultures we identify with. People can be intentionally harmful, but often times when they act immorally it's unintentional and more so reflective of internalized hatred they don't know how to grapple with. I don't really believe in a universal sense of "right", but I do think understanding a wider sense of "right" as a concept comes from acknowledging the flaws of your own insular perspective and choosing to grow from them through evaluation and feedback.
