     And I mean, really, Phantom Menace hit a lot of the same "newcomer to the force, Jedi mentor death, epic battle at the end" notes that New Hope did, and nobody called it a remake. #spoiler #starwars7 (OK so it wasn't really as close but shut up I'm trying here)

     @clayinthecarpet It was a decent action movie, but half the things that happened in there were ridiculous beyond measure. For example the "removing fuses opens everything" part, or the reason-defying enemy "super weapon" shich I described as a laser pointer fed by a car battery.
