      @rw @rohan Art careers are a mess everywhere and never worth it money wise, being really expensive as far as supplies and equipment goes and rarely offering high paying jobs. That goes double for USA and their weird "everything costs a fortune" policy. It boils down to "only take art if it's your passion and you like martyrdom"

        @nerthos @rohan well I graduated with one 5 years ago and have done pretty well. But a lot of my peers didn't. I think art is about 45% talent and 55% willpower and effort. Do the bare minimum more than other artists and jobs are available after school.
