@normandy That's the right why, ya. I started pronouncing "Linux" and "GNU" before I'd ever heard anyone say them so now my pronunciations have stuck; also, they're just better.

@nerd My dad used to pronounce Linux as "lye-nuks", probably the only person I've heard pronounce it that way.

@normandy That's how I do it, too. It's the actually-correct way, whatever the "official" pronunciation is, because Linus isn't pronounced Luh-nuss.
