A concept that never made much sense to me is "latin america". Everything in america except USA, Jamaica, the english speaking part of Canada, Surinam, and a few caribbean islands is latin america.

@takecherryakenji I don't really take those words seriously because most of the people who use them don't have the slightest idea of what a spanish person actually looks like. I'm a spanish citizen myself and I can bet you good money that if I went to north america no one would notice.

@nerthos Do you still live in Spain?
-
@takePotato Knishesakenji No, I have dual nationality.
-
@nerthos Where are you now?
-
@takeFluffle Puffakenji Argentina. Where are you going with this?
-
@nerthos Just curious. How do you like it there versus Spain?
-
@takegrapeakenji More corruption, less income, but also much more freedom. Over there you can't modify your house's front without a permit. I do intend to go over to Spain at some point though, at least for a bit.

@nerthos How difficult was a dual citizenship to obtain?
-
@takemangoakenji Not hard at all, since I was born over here but my grandfather was spanish and my mother had dual citizenship, so it was just a matter of going to the embassy and filling some papers.

@nerthos don't do it, spain is full of spanish people, and spanish people SUUUUUUCK
-
@zennx >Implying I have any issues with Spanish people
I mean, I could say the same about going to chile since the country I live in has been at odds with them since forever, but that wouldn't be an issue to anyone from outside this place. In the same way, someone who's not from Portugal won't have any issues with Spain. -
@nerthos @takebananaakenji same for me when I came to the States.

@zennx My mother was from Spain you wretch
-
@razzleberry Hey ellie let's beat him up
-
@razzleberry @zennx Yeah punk. *waves plank around*
-
@nerthos damned sweet.
-
@awl Thinking of making a slightly curved plum wood handle with a guard similar to the gold one, but in iron/steel.
-
@nerthos No wrapping of the handle I take?
-
@awl None at all. It's simply the stripped blade and it's sheath. I'll get a pic at some point. All that passes as a "handle" is a trigger-shaped piece of steel with a screw at the tip.
