  1. Listen I'M NOT SAYING to buy a new controller, I'M JUST SAYING the Xbox 360 controller feels like ass when you've used an Xbox One controller.

    • @mrmattimation The XBox One controller is not bad. I like the smaller concave thumb sticks (thus I ordered the two to fix the crumbling rubber of the current ones I have) and the D-Pad is a godsend in comparison to the 360 controller. Otherwise it's a damn fine controller that I still prefer over the Playstation controller in most cases. The Playstation controllers on the other hand have a damn fine D-Pad for platformers and it's better placed in this case. When I want to play a 2D platformer I still prefer the SNES controller and try to get it working on the PC whenever possible. Playing Super Meat Boy was brilliant this way.

    • @adiwan There really hasn't been a very good D-pad since the SNES, has there?

    • @scribus In theory the Gamecube controller is fine but the placement on the controller is very awkward for my hands. The N64's is good and equal to the SNES but sadly very underutilized except for a few games like Mischief Makers. I wish I can put my hands on the Neo Geo CD controller (or its Japan exclusive PS2 variant). I heard it's a very comfortable to use.

    • @adiwan I feel like the N64 was a little stiff on the D-pad, but maybe that is just because it's underused. And I never really got to play any Gamecube.
