I support state funded education as long as it includes regulation of it. A base quality and rules to be eligible for state funding. The moment an university starts teaching objectively wrong or stupid crap, or allows apes to fling crap at someone who's giving a speech for having different political ideas like in those videos that were circulating a while back, the state should completely cut funding of that institution.

@tiffany In any case I don't think I said "free", just "state fuded" as in partially subsided by the state so the fees aren't exhorbitant.

@tiffany Over here for example you have both state and private universities. Private ones are much more expensive, but public ones aren't completely free, just cheap. You still need to pay a base cost before entry exams, and likely each year, and buy your own books and gear.
