If you haven't watched South Park lately, let me break it down for you. Season 18 experimented with episode-to-episode continuity, which let the boys deal with the consequences of their actions, and even created a mini story arc about Randy's secret double life as Lorde, which encompassed two episodes at the beginning of the season and two episodes at the end. Season 19 took this to the next level by theming every episode around different aspects of Politically Correct America, culminating in a three-part serial about how aliens are trying to price the human race out of existence with gentrified PC shopping centers. This season is going all the way, Trey Parker and Matt Stone seemed to have stopped tip-toeing around the idea of continuity and this whole season so far has just straight-up been a fully serialized coherent storyline.
