    Everyone always says one is the loneliest number. What about zero? Nobody ever says that zero is the loneliest number. Sometimes they even forget that it exists. They start counting at one instead. At least one is in the set of positive numbers. Zero is the only real number that is neither positive nor negative. Poor zero. It truly is the loneliest number.
