@nerthos with bumps and unpleasantness. Also one time I rode in one of those, the gum part (which terribly stank BTW) ripped and you could see the street while looking down. Was amusing~

@roka Haha, that sounds amazing. I remember traveling in a normal bus that had one of the floor hatches damaged when I was a kid, and staring through it. More buses should have exciting floor deathtraps.

The handles in the middle hurt your back. Your knees are on a dead set, if you sit. The windows do not open.-
@tijagi @boco but they do open. It's hard but you can slide the top part. They use the same type in Konstal trams which are still in use today.

@roka @boco They do but you must apply a big force to fix the frame with your push. And then it may not close back. I think that’s why the drivers started to put rubber seal on the glass way, so it couldn’t be open ever. Thank god they’re not there any more.

@roka @boco I remember a weird moment, when I was told off for not closing the window in a tram when I was going to leave. The man said ‘When you leave your house you don’t leave your windows open?’ – I didn’t understand, what’s the matter, it isn’t the last stop, it is the middle of the route. Then I thought, that maybe he thought it will be difficult for a 50 yo man to close windows in public transportation opened by younglings. But he didn’t look like a disabled person. We stood not far away from each other.
