    Well. Turns out removing the labels from my bookmark toolbar (at the suggestion of an internet pal) was a good idea after all. I went from nine or so to 17 in half the space.

      @redenchilada It's surprisingly effective. Though I've nowadays switched to a somewhat different approach of religiously sorting everything into folders (with a "Link dump" folder for the few things I just can't categorize), which also seems to work out pretty well.

        @bitshift I tried folders for a while and became too lazy to click more than once.

      @redenchilada I tried that, but the thing I used made them expand into labels when hovered over. I ended up never clicking on the right things.
