    People wanting to replace shell for shell scripting seem to forget the # reason why shell is popular for scripting: it's installed, everywhere (on Linux). If you use the plain old POSIX dialect it's installed on every unix system even.

      Err, apparently tcsh is not fully POSIX compatible. Never mind that argument.
