@awl I understand being opposed to police brutality but I don't know what refusing to stand for the national anthem has to do with that, when you just turn around and say you love the country and the anthem is an expression of love of country, not a blanket approval of everything it's ever done.

@moonman It started out as trying to get attention for it but that's all it could have been. Now like @maiyannah says it's PR. It's like writing an edgy subtweet to Trump's account, just way more exposed.
