  1. They’re either severely over-regulating or severely under-regulating. At all times. The FCC doesn’t have a dial on their regulatory practices, it’s just an on-off switch. Any time you hear about the FCC in the news, it’s because they’re either a) freaking out over Janet Jackson’s nipple, or b) handing free reign of literally everything to private corporations. They don’t know what “moderation” is. It’s not like this is the end of the internet—obviously—anyone who tells you that it is is either severely uninformed or a lobbyist, but a complete lack of regulation ain’t a good thing either. Of COURSE companies are going to take advantage of that. They literally always will.
