@vriska @fireh9lly @envgen solid snake has naturally dark hair because dark hair is a dominant gene, while fair hair is recessive. Liquid says himself he got all the recessive genes, which would include light hair. If all of big boss's genes are spread across les enfants terribles, then one of them HAS to have dark hair since both big bosses from mg1/2 have dark hair.
The only possibilities are:
1. neither bb, solid, nor liquid dye their hair
2. everyone has brown hair and liquid and solidus dye their hair because they're gay
3. everyone has blonde hair and solid/bb are conveniently only ever seen on missions where they have to dye their hair
4. the patriots thought it would be funny if they gave liquid and solidus blonde hair just to FrankerZ with them
