  1. 22 years ago, human-scientists cloned a sheep. Dolly the Sheep they called her. But I am pretty sure it suffered from something that sounded like 'checkerboard'-ism? If someone knows the exact name of that, I would love to know it, for google is not playing nice with me on that font.

    1. @drinkingpony I want to say "accelerated decrepitude," but I'm just stealing that from "Blade Runner." It was along those lines, though.

      1. @scribus Actually, reading the 'pedia, it seems she died of a fairly common lung ailment in sheep, and wasn't really found to have anything "genetically wrong" or whatever other than short telomeres (aglets for DNA).

      2. @scribus I was thinking of the developmental issue that arrised when there were essentially two blueprints of the sheep to be found inside of Dolly.

        1. @drinkingpony Huh. I found nothing about that in my brief and ultimately distracted-by-tangents search.
