@zeldatra god i hate drawing backgrounds. Such a pain. Am i the only person who does lip-syncing as i animate?

@abigpony I actually animate a scene first, then I do the lipsync. And backgrounds got so much easier for me when I discovered the blur filter and learned how to manipulate lines to my liking.

@abigpony It's not a huge blur and I only use it for distant objects. Anywho, I work in Macromedia Flash 8, cause I don't see the point in upgrading to any of the CS versions.
