Sometimes I get cranky that my parents convinced me I would never be able to play video games professionally, but let's be honest, I wouldn't be pulling this kind of crap off anyway so https://youtu.be/Bgh30BiWG58

@scribus What do you mean ? that is just training, theorycrafting, theorytesting, and putting it into action.
Also preparing about a month just for that event alone.
The biggest problem with YOU doing it is that you might not love those games as much as they do.
You know what CL4P-TP said in BL1... "I can see the code"Jonathan Chouinard likes this. -
@drinkingpony Yeah, but I also don't have a strong enough competitive drive. I play games for fun, fun doesn't pay the bills. :p I mean, I know I could (on some of these; a lot I genuinely lack the reaction time or manual dexterity; oh, well), but ultimately I wouldn't, you know? Still druther just play for fun and make solo indie games of my own. Perhaps one day... And maybe even sooner than we think!

@scribus Build a competetive drive, and the rest will come.
Including that solo indie game of your own.
Not to push you a certain direction, but I really like space :DJonathan Chouinard likes this. -
@drinkingpony Let's see... I have plans for a time travel action platform puzzler, a top-down fantasy arena combat, a Pac-Man style maze game about gardening, and yeah, if I can swing it a space game kind of like The Guardian Legend where it's 50% space shooter and 50% top-down adventure and 50% maze exploration and 50% gigantic boss fights....

@scribus I am afraid my space-math just exploded.
