  1. Given Borderlands 2's apparent desire to appeal to both skilled and casual players I am surprised the game does not provide a method to respec into an entirely different player character.

    1. @ceruleanspark then you can just choose a different character and twink them out.

      1. @abigpony I'm just surprised, given how desperate the game is to never place you in situations you can't handle, that the game forces you to stick to your initial character choice.

        1. @ceruleanspark the game constantly puts you in situations you can't handle, it's just easy to know your way around those. They know the people playing it aren't THAT stupid.

          1. @abigpony I've never felt outclassed, or even especially challenged by anything I've faced. The game directly telegraphs all its boss fights, constantly provides low tier enemies for second winds, and equips basically every enemy with an established elemental weakness.

            1. @ceruleanspark you playing with shotguns and/or snipers?

              1. @abigpony Melee and a mix of guns. I have a shotgun in my quick equip list, but it's getting a little long in the tooth.
