  1. Pretty good argument for term limits in Congress: there’s a disturbing amount of Senators who can now say they were the jurors at two separate impeachment trials.

    1. @mrmattimation I do feel such a split over term limits. On the one hand, damn re-election, do your job! On the other, I'd hate to see the effects of the loss of the "elder statesperson." So, I usually feel like limits in certain, very key positions (DEFINITELY president!) are just about mandatory, but in others... I just don't know.

      1. @scribus I mean the “elder statespeople” are all working to cover up crimes committed by the White House so do we really need them

        1. @mrmattimation These ones? No. But, when it comes to having connections, the ephemeral "I know a guy" moments that get jammed gears turning again, it can still become a high price to pay. I don't have The Answers, but I like to try considering all angles and long-term outcomes. It's why I spend so many decisive moments paralyzed! :D . . . wait, that actually sucks...
