    Designing good aliens is kinda difficult.... Just going like "crab people!" is being like "animal + human" which is more or less just creating Space Furries. Anything too far out is basically impossible to conceive. Grays were played out in the 70s. Eh, whatever, gotta forge fearlessly forward for 50-thou. And words typed on RDN don't count.

        @pony It's National Novel Writing Month. I guess it's kind of a contest, but it isn't like there's a "prize" other than a warm fuzzy feeling of accomplishment, and the possibility that if I can stay focused I might one day have something I can submit to an agent or a publisher.
