    @leonkfox It's not a given that Wifi uses less power. On my Pre2, using Wifi hits the battery harder than 3G does.

      @ceruleanspark Well when I had my BlackBerry Curve 8520 a tech geek friend of mine told me I'd save battery connected to wifi, too bad that thing was a PAIN IN THE dole to connect to wifi, but I digress.

        @leonkfox Those things were crappy with wifi and their regular connection used up more power. Smartphones these days have a decent wifi system.
