                1. @xeleanorxrigbyx Another option is making it into a escabeche. It doesn't go bad fast due to the vinegar and spice. You can ignore the almonds and raisins. http://www.yummly.com/recipe/Chicken-Escabeche-Martha-Stewart-196631?columns=3&position=2%2F12

                2. @xeleanorxrigbyx Wait, you don't have any way to cook things? No gas burner or oven?

                  1. @nerthos Our stove/oven is electric, unfortunately. :( So no AC, lights, way to cook, fridge, etc. We may try picking up a tiny charcoal grill though/

                    1. @xeleanorxrigbyx Oh yeah that's an option. Or you could fashion a makeshift grill with some bricks and iron and wood or charcoal as fuel.

                      1. @nerthos My guess is my apt. complex would frown on that. We're not supposed to have a grill as is, but I need to eat.

                        2. @xeleanorxrigbyx Oh! You could get a portable gas burner from a camping store. They work with propane.
