      1. @ceruleanspark I think I am personally in favour of terminating people when they can no longer pass a couple of tests. Like the test of friendlyness, the test of stamina, the test of helpfullness, the test of asessing the situation before you put the pedal to the metal ( essential for people who drive cars methinks ). ... How would we go about selecting these people for testing ? We'll let your everyday people on the streets be the judge of that, make them send a letter with their name, the name of the people they think should be re-evaluated, and the reason why to the testing-HQ. ... Would it be a lovely place to live in ? Heck no, but it will be a progressive society.

          1. @ceruleanspark At least it is better than putting a LED in the palm of your hand that turns red when you hit a pre-determined age http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WUUnc1M0TA

            1. @critialcloudkicker Why stop there? We could mark people with different chips to show their value to society and afford more privilege to people with better chips. You could increase your ranking by undertaking government proscribed actions like cycling to work or recycling more.

              1. @ceruleanspark Now who here has develish plans ? About to hand over a person's worth to nothing but number generators. Life would be worse than MMO's. Because now you know that you are getting screwed even if the legendary sword "frostscalibur" drops from that random number generator. At least with my quickly made up system you would have significant difference between area's, and, as thus, would be able to live more happily depending on your life's choices.

    3. @snowcone I think utter chaos. It would never last. If it were naturally occuring then the younger among us would suffer greatly, but we'd get by alright after a while, though I think it would set back science and technology decades.
