  1. @adiwan Ohh, that was dark. Still laughed though :)

  2. @scribus You know what would make that worse ? Other people trying to kick you when you are down. I've been there and flipping them the bird is the least they deserve.

Soo... I'll wish you the best of luck, and hope you'll find a beautiful new residence devoid of huge downers and alternator-scarcities .

  3. @mrmattimation Oh great, thank you for reminding me of Food Fight 2012. Here is a trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uROQ9nplxIY

  4. I think the exposure to the internet has somewhat made me a pessimist. I just saw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAHDs83-YTc and I am in 2 minds about this. Yes I think that people should use their voice to stand up for gender equality. However at the same time I know what happens in youtube-comments and about way-too-much channels who slander anyone who does not agree with whatever they stand for.

I would personally would be way happier about a campaign about "etiquette for humans, how to be well-recieved" and "diplomacy and you, how to get what you seek". Oh and throw in a "people for equality day" while you are at it.

Sadly, I think we live in a world where exposure is more important than the message. And being kind to one-another gets thrown out in favor of possible results. *sigh*... Did I mention the internet is turning me somewhat into a pessimist ? Probably more of a realist, and the world is just too darn negative. Excuse me for ranting my rant, feel free to deposit 2 cents

  5. @theboy101 Today I learned that there is a difference between suspension and detention. Whoops, my bad. What is "In School" and how can you suspend that ?

  6. @scribus traffic jams are stupid, flat-earth-society is stupid, hydrogen is flammable

Tuesday, 15-Mar-16 14:55:00 UTC from web in context
  7. @theboy101 Probably because you are in a partially govnerment funded institution where they try to mold you somewhat so you'll fit better in society. Sadly this could mean the end to some of your individuality and youthly optimism. And I do not think you need a foil hat to agree that this is happening. Yet is it better than not being forced to go to school by the man ? Dunno, I would argue "no" actually. Does that make me "one of them" ?

  9. "My Sisters of Battle army is entirely made out of metal. So carrying around a 2000 points army is a workout" someone told me. So I did some math afterwards. Even if they are all metal, and they were glued together with some lead-based glue, and you carry them around in a kevlar reinforced suitcase, thats 5 KGS at most. And you call carrying around a 5 KGS suitcase a workout ? *facepalm* Oh you, when they finally get around to make new models for the Adaptas Sororitas you'll find out how assinine your own comment was :)

  10. @m14brony Why the ugly shades of grey ?

Tuesday, 15-Mar-16 11:02:39 UTC from web in context
  11. @taknamay Yeah. That is kinda what I was saying. But even if Yahoo mail is able to send e-mails to Gmail ( something something mumbo jumbo standarization on how e-mails are send ) I do not think there is anything standard on what the front page banner is supposed to look like. And if I happen to already have Yahoo mail's front page banner cashed then my browser is saying something like "No need to send over your banner, I already have it". Probably a similar thing happened to the Quitter turtle avatar. How that is possible, no idea, I never looked under RDN's hood though, but mayhaps there is a component that gives the middle finger to browser cashings whereas Quitter is pretty much not giving a hoot. I kinda figured you knew something about this which I should not have figured, oops.

  12. @taknamay Ehmm... Lets put it like "What is Federated ?"

  13. @hfaust Oh, yeah, forgot about that. At least my Microsoft Sidewinder actually works under Windows 7. I tried it at someone running Windows 10 and it does not work. However it did seem to work when I put it in a Steam Link running from the same computer ... Wha ?!? http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/834980

Monday, 14-Mar-16 21:46:09 UTC from web in context
  14. @hfaust I actually dove into the context button to see what you were talking about. The whole article just does not sit right with me to the point where I want to laugh in this guy's face a couple of times. However, I do see less and less concerns about upgrading my Windows 7 to Windows 10 every day. The only real things that are keeping me now are because Windows 10 seems to FORCE updates, even when playing games for instance, batcave around with the privacy-settings, and, that's it ? I mean as a Windows 7 user they are probably already into my stuff on the same level as if I were using Windows 10 ?

Monday, 14-Mar-16 20:51:46 UTC from web in context
  15. @taknamay Yeah, because probably RDN was shouting "mango your cashe !" harder than Quitter was... Also I actually went to Quitter directly instead of federated... Wait is federated a place or more like a webway ?

Monday, 14-Mar-16 20:26:13 UTC from web in context
  16. @taknamay That sounds like you know something regarding any possible "not so efficient" RDN codeings

  17. Oh hey, cloudfire problems again between my side and Amsterdam... One of these days I should really get a VPN just to test a theory here

  18. @taknamay Dumping the cashe does wonders for a computer, however why it did require that for Star Butterfly to correctly show up on Quitter while not on RDN will quite possibly only be answered by the coding-gods

  19. @zennx "He" happens to be one of the clients I'm working with. He had some trouble finding work, as such I helped him and... lets just say I gave him a crash course in internet and ettiquette and how backtalking is a really bad idea *sigh* some people. But no, I have to teach, coach, tutor and support these people things. If I was in charge of hiring people and found a resume written in Comic Sans I would ritualisticly burn it.

  20. Ohkay, so this resume I am looking at right now is definitely written in Comic Sans *rolleyes*.

  21. @zennx Mythbusters ?

Monday, 14-Mar-16 12:14:00 UTC from web in context
  22. @taknamay If I might inquire, why does your avatar look like a turtle on Quitter and like Star Butterfly on RDN ?

  23. @zennx ... How about ghosts ?

Monday, 14-Mar-16 12:10:50 UTC from web in context
  24. @zennx There are BILLIONS of lifeforms on this planet that do not have the required appendage for decapitation. How would you reckon I get rid of those ?

  29. @mushi It sort of is, and at the same time isn't. It gets so terribly repetitive it is so easy it is just a matter of waiting till you brain screws up a simple jump and then your controls will suffer a great deal because you blame yourself
