( shower thought ) The words "Bully" and phraise "he bullies me". Are they things that you're supposed to grow out of ? Well, yeah, probably. However can you put an arbitrary age on that ? I mean a 30 year old whining about bullies strikes me as a very disturbing thought indeed.
-
@tiffany Who is he, and you are discontent with it because it is older than you are ? *confus*
-
@tiffany It's pretty much directly taken from an in 1984 created science-fiction universe though.
-
@tiffany I know how Steiner feels about this design http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/834799
-
@mushi what in the world is that ?
-
"Given that we'll all eventually expire, what do you want to be remembered for ?" Was the question. So I answerred "Driving over Justin Bieder in a Disturbed bandwagon"
-
@Fluffle Puff I blame my bad eyesight and this weird-ass tradition of the locals to put christmas decorations on the first outside tree that they fancy.
-
@scribus Little bit of digging, it was probably on the cover of "The Collapse of Chaos", a book which I probably saw in a library back when they still were known for books.
-
@thelastgherkin I am so glad that everything has worked out great post 21 October 2015 though http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/834767

@mushi Why did you have to break my brain ?
-
@nerthos Alright, I'll bite. I have NO idea what a pie-day actually is. Is it like a day where one bakes a cake and/or pie ? Because that is what I would call pie-day. The internet has been throwing it around for a while now but I still do not have a solid to what it entails. Is that dumb ? Howfar off am I ?
-
I just had to explain to someone that you don't become a sociopath by lying, however if someone is a sociopath they may lie. I do not think I can make that much easier, but she did not understand. Help ?

@scribus "If our brains were simple enough for us to understand them, we'd be so simple that we couldn't" comes to mind. Probably a quote I picked up from Civ4, where Leonard Nemoy quoted the entire tech-tree.
-
@banana HAH, the curse of the chrismastree.
-
@nerthos I kinda still wanna know what for though. Was it pie-day ? I hope it was pie-day :)
-
@scribus Yes, I roll natural 20's a lot while dreaming or daydreaming. Mostly to the point where a lot of things are de-ja-vu's to me. This image for instance, I thought it up while daydreaming, doodled it, and the next day I found it on a T-shirt in a random market stall ( market-day )... Also I never even saw a single episode of "Breaking Bad", although I guess there is a chance I picked it up somewhere without it registering consciously. Brain's are weird. http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/834760

I just had a dream where Heisenberg gave me a big bag of blue meth. Aparently my unconscious now thinks that blue meth tastes like lollypops. Any safe ways to fix this or am I going to have to find peace with that there are now meth-flavour candy-kart riders in my dreams ?

*invades a planet successfully* "soo... how am I going to defend it ?" gets notified that a Ranger class precursor corvette has been has been found and put into service on that same planet. Heh, I love it when games work with me :D

@nerthos Hey, a little birdie told me to congratulate you on, ehmm, you know, that thing :)
-
@m14brony Well, yeah, but if you cherrypick your criteria then any firearm is a potential "best in class" firearm. Therefor the "one size fits all" is a swasher, not the other way around. Also your current environment matters a lot. I mean I am not taking a Diemaco, G36E, or Steyr Aug A3 to the desert when I can take an AK47. Or an AK74 for that matter. Reliability becomes the most important thing when you're in a desert storm with sand as fine as flour
-
@tiffany Let's talk tactics. Can you somehow woo her by being all Alpha male like as you stand over your chrush's crushes crushed corpse while having a bigass sigar in your mouth while in military boots and striking a pose ? If not, you are not Duke Nukem, and you probably would not be able to get away with murder anyway.

First of all, it looks real apparent which empire loves war ( big surprise ) ... Also I get like a quarter of a million votes ? Dayum, what did I do to deserve over 75% of a democracy ? http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/834654

@nerthos Well, no, because they were the adorable enemies trying to get up close and personal with their disruptor sabers while the only problems my troops had was that protonic plasmacasters have a tendancy to explode if you hold the trigger down for too long, which tends to happen a lot when you are outnumbered 20 to 1. Also I raise you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA4tLCGcTG4 ... I did not know this existed, darn :o

Soo if I do not like a victory condition such as "diplomatic victory" ( civilization games ) or "ascension victory" ( Galactic Civilization 2 DA ) ... Is that considdered "cheating" or "tweaking gameplay to your personal preferences" ? I mean, they are options to turn off and on in the "create a game" section. I kinda have double feelings about them.

Been playing some Galactic Civilization 2. And loving it... But how in the name of unholy warfare can I roll a 23 in strength and my enemy an 8, even though my Soldiering ( basically training and tactics and warfare experience ) is rated at 1. and my enemy's rating is 58. That would be like the Easter Bunny vs Genghis Khan... Oh wait, I see, my Tech rating is 52951, and theirs is only 21767. Poor mangos...

@adiwan Most conventions I go to seem to hover around that pricepoint though. And yes I would too would rather have some electronic gizmo, 22 Euro seems way too steep, and then there is the dealer room with overpriced everything.
-
@adiwan Oh, good :)
-
@adiwan ... I hope you were dumpsterdiving
-
@adiwan I was mostly talking about the hardware design of the thing though, and not any of the internals, but the balance of the thing in your hands, the buttons that have a "right" feel. Unlike the Ipega "clip on" controller ( http://www.usbgeek.com/products/ipega-iphone-android-bluetooth-controller ) which make the whole ordeal both feel unbalanced and laggy to me, and sometimes even downright yanky.
-
@adiwan You know, I said something like "Wannebeass handheld retromachine" and that kinda retorted in my brain for a bit. Yeah I want one of those. Although in my case I would settle for something as silly as [some quick fighting with paint.net ] ... something as silly as this http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/834639
