@ryanjjjj I don't know if CD drives have the same capability. You need stepper motors. Besides, CD drives are still useful.

@ryanjjjj I caused the flashing lights by connecting the drive's "activate" pin to step as well. It's supposed to go to ground, but this looks much nicer.

@ryanjjjj if your talking about the floppy drives, i took them off. The sound is louder that way. If your talking about the actual hard drives, I don't need no enclosure.
