@rednorth i can't help it i have such a particular taste in music that i can't help but apply to what i listen to. my analytic nature cannot be turned off and i would definitely say i would rather listen to Pantera or Opeth :/

@rednorth i often find myself having trouble fully enjoying slayer, they are good but there are alot of little nit picks here and there that are kind of disappointing.

@rednorth Thats whats really cool to take away from other genres, metal isnt as focused on the sound design but more on the actual arrangement and patterns. knowing how to actually play the guitar rather then design the sound for unique harmonics. i have alot of respect for musicians. (This is why i call myself a producer, i cant play a string instrument worth a flying papayas)

@rednorth there is absolutely a way but I can't play guitar... maybe il find someone who can and get them to do some chords for me. I can work with that

one thing I would love to do is become competent with an electric guitar. I want to develope a patch that uses the tone of the guitars source input as a controller for a sub set of occilators making an electronic style patch with the intresting flare of a guitar. the idea is probably over complicated in my head but I love the natural timbre of the guitar and would love to incorporate it in a sound.
