They abandoned him at a very young age and Feather Wind became his guardian\/mentor. He was the positive, disciplined influence in his life all the way through flight school. In the last 4 years of flight school, Scorch entered the Cloudsdale Flying Band playing the trumpet and had a very strong dedication and connection to it. In his final year, he met Moonshy. I younger, also trumpet playing mare. They hit it off very quickly and were together for nearly a year. Throughout though, issues began to arise as they didn't really have too much in common and Moonshy's more pessimistic ways sort of drained Scorch. (continued, gimme a sec)"}
