When I went to the pony meetup at MCM I couldn't stand it. Obnoxious shouting, hassling people, way too much unwanted physical contact. All the crap that got the homestuck fandom banned from holding meetups there actually. \n\nYet, when I went to a pony meetup last weekend, I had a really good time with everyone, and even made a new friend! \n\nThere's some other factor at work there, I think."}
