In other cultures and in past ages you'd be marrying age already.  If you really love each other I believe you'll both prove your responsibility and devotion. Really, 4 years can feel like an eternity, but it's nothing to wait for compared to the length of a marriage.  I only waited a bit more than 1 year, and some get married in a matter of months or sooner after meeting each other, but for the law's sake I guess you're bound to wait until your parents say it's alright or you turn 18. :|"}
